I see there has been a change to the display of the charms I have. It also has a new feature to buy charms for yourself. There are some news ones in this purchase field.
But the initial display does not put them in order as the past. It puts charms in Newest First. There is a drop down box to change these, but it does not retain the choice you select. The next time you look at your charms it is back to Newest First. So I am going to ask now if CW can make the display stick to the player choice of how we want it to display. I donāt really want to have to make that change in the drop down each time I open it up. And even Newest First is not accurate. I just opened a TB and received a Luckiest 7, but it does not display at the top which it should since that is the newest charm I received.
@Samantha I hope others offer feedback and changes to the display can be considered.
Iām with you @PB234 they need to set it so that it keeps your choice. Iām constantly changing my charms as they run out, and having to reset that feature every time I go back in is very annoying. I like being able to buy charms that I donāt have, so thatās a nice feature.
I like the ability to have settings that can be changed and I agree that whatever setting you choose for your charm display it should not have to be changed every time you open it! So PLEASE @Samantha see if they can make this feature hold the setting you choose. Thank you in advance !
At first, I thought it was just my system messing up! When i went to use my Unicorns on Mahjong, I could load as many as i wanted and the Charm manager display would not change. NOWā¦.I load the first four and then the next ones get āaddedā to my charm display as a set of 5..again..and again. Also, like @PB234 said, it begins on the "Newest charmā setting, and even when i try to change it back, it reverts back to āNewest Charmā again.
It is VERY messy when trying to load a larger number of charms beyond the 4 sets it displays on the side-bar.
FWIW, respectfully @Samantha maybe CW should consider a user panel to run their innovative ideas through for feedback before they load them up. Or perhaps a sandpit for invited users to try before they buy a new function.
Iām sure in a planning meeting this new charm buffer seemed like a cracking idea, but it would appear your players arenāt convinced
I also have no problem with the change other than not having it stay on the list order you choose. I also agree with @Eddi_Bets and wonder why CW does not have some actual players offer feedback prior to releasing. I feel this could have been a nice change, but it missed the mark in the end.
Absolutely! I use unicorns for Dragon Mahjong and am used to being able to click on the charm until I have loaded what I want to. Now the original box with the charm in it MOVES, so I have to be sure I am clicking from the correct box, not just reloading the same 5 unicorns over and over again.
The first thing I checked was whether they finally added an āUncheck Allā button (or at least made Auto-Equip start with nothing checked). That has been one of the most requested feature since the old forum days, but of course, itās still not addressed.
As for sorting, I donāt think anyone cares to sort by anything other than Clover Value (High to Low / Low to High). That is how we have always found our charms.
I also noticed a change with charms removed from the buffer. They used to go to the bottom of the list so we could find them easily to reload. Now, when you remove a charm, it sits right next to the main stack as an individual item. I have to figure out which ones are the partially used ones I just removed. It will āaverage downā and merge if you close the Charm Manager completely. It feels a bit clunky.
On a positive note, there is also a feature to purchase multiple charms in the Charm shop⦠that functionality would be perfect in the Building Shop.
i put charms in a specific order. now when one of the lower charms run out and i want to replace it, when moving the top charms out of the way, they donāt go to the bottom for easy replacement. they go next to the other charms like them and i have to hunt for them. NOT A FAN OF THIS CHANGE.
The only part im upset about (as stated in my first post one this) is the annoying action of my charms returning back to my charm manager when i over-load my charm buffer past 4 sets. (Creating a set of charms next to the main on and repeating for each click) THATā¦is the only annoying part of this when trying to load a large amount of charms into the buffer to play. Seems other users are having this same issue when mass-loading their charms for a game that can use them up fast.
I like the option of being able to buy some āoff marketā charms for my self!⦠But when i select a certain setting for viewing my charms, IE: Clover level Highest to Lowestā¦.. I needs to STAY that way ! I always go after my charms in a particular way, based on the clover levels! I want them to stay the way I arrange them!
i agreeā¦itās stupidā¦especailly when your playing a game and have to go in everytime to get charms to have to go thru that extra stepā¦why change something when there wasnāt anything wrong with it in the first placeā¦
