Why would CW fix something that wasn’t broken? The changed has confused and po’d a lot people. I hope they revert back to charm order everyone preferred.

ummm. Yea, whoever suggested this please do us all a favor and NEVER request anything again…We have been trying for YEARS to get the ability to buy multiple buildings at a time…Yet we get this charm-foolery? HORRIBLE change and the absolute worst thing CW has ever done…
CW: Please put it back the way it was (for your sake and ours) as it is impossible to play now…

I was happy to see the old charm buffer restored, please thank the teams @Samantha but it seems it was short-lived, I logged off for a short while and when I returned the new one was back
Hopefully the team has ironed out the wrinkles that were annoying

Just my opinion, but this change is terrible and was not needed. Don’t fix things that aren’t broken. PLEASE revert this CW.

This is such an easy fix. Just make the sorting method we choose the default. As everyone says, it makes it harder to reload. Or better yet, give us the feature of just picking the charm(s) we want to be in auto reload rather than having to uncheck all the ones we don’t want!

If highest clover to lowest had remained the default over Newest I would be OK with it.

How do I feel about CW’s reimagining of the Charm Layout? It SUCKS…. and not well….
It seems to me that CW deliberately did this “without” input from its members,
CW did this so that it is now more difficult to load higher value charms to get the most coin payouts for games,
CW did this as a slap in the face to ALL VIP for Life members,
CW did this so that it takes much longer to advance thru the Crown Levels & Milestones.
WHY??? Was it CW’s wish to have it’s faithful loyal base of faans elect to NOT PLAY and find another online gaming experience??? Afterall, it’s never too late to try something else….

I’m with you @Rambler . Why they would make a change like this before giving us the ability to buy multiple buildings at one time is very mindboggling to me. So many of us have begged for this feature, yet CW has totally ignored it. Not sure what their thought process is. Especially when so many players on here are programmers and say this wouldn’t be that difficult. Maybe someday.

I agree. The building purchase process is a tedious time killer. I’ve spent afternoons buying tier 6 buildings to convert to monuments. Would have been more efficient if I could have purchased X amount in one transaction.

I agree with all of the above. Please CW don’t make our gaming time more difficult than it has to be. The forum exists so you can take our opinions and give them some consideration. Don’t forget the customer is always right.

CW won’t let me comment on the Help Page even though I’m a VIP, so I’m commenting here. WHO’S THE BONEHEAD THAT CHANGED THE CHARM BANK??!! We need to be able to default the charm list like it used to be instead of it always coming up in alphabetical order (which is not totally in alphabetical order). Also, I agree with Nunya and others that we should be able to load as many charms in our bank as we like instead of just being limited to four. Whoever made this stupid change should be fired and thrown in Puget Sound.

My 2¢: Please, please, oh, please! Please either set the charms manager back the way it was or make our choice of display the default. Just as many have expressed above, I wouldn’t mind the latter. Thank you for your support.

I agree with everyone on this issue. I prefer Highest to Lowest for my charm settings and it is inconvenient to have to keep changing back to that setting every time.

@Samantha I would agree with the general consensus being stated in the thread. It would be optimal for either (i) the default setting be changed to Charms:High to Low (the historical default) or (ii) editing the code so that a user’s change to the default sticks with that specific user. I haven’t tried loading up unicorns for Sparkplug Poker play just yet, but if it is now working as others described, that would be far more tedious that it’s been in the past, so an option to change that behavior would also be appreciated. Thanks!

@Samantha just adding to everyone else’s comments hoping to further highlight how awfully executed the change was. please either have the selection be saved automatically and for every time thereafter or revert to how it was originally. thank you!

I have found that if you arrange the charms alphabetically, after you load the initial 4 sets, the charm will stop moving in the chart. Still aggravating, but not like having to chase those unis through the charm maze!
