I don’t know when the last time I went to a party and it actually made it to the end prize. I think CW has slowed the meter way down, you buy a helicopter now and the meter barely moves. I guess that’s why the GNG’s are popular but I liked the parties and chatting with everyone. CW bring the fun back please.

People have learned that it’s better to build your city than to spend gems on charms. I have noticed a huge drop in people gifting too.
But there are parties intended to bust, if you want to go to them. But random parties, GnG parties, rarely bust. That’s true.

The more the buy in to a party the more gems/charms it takes to bust it. if you go to them high end parties it will take way more than a yacht it takes to bust a beer party

GnG’s are fun…most people don’t literally grab and go. You can always socialize and build friendships at GnG’s.

Yea it seems like Party Busters are a thing of the past! Too bad! Make them fun again CW! Your meters a way too slow and not fun! Busters get expensive!

There are still parties that bust the meter, I’m lucky enough to get in sometimes so I know it happens. They are lower charm ones & you can see them on the board every day, similar time, attended regularly by the same groups of people who share amongst their friends for the fun of it but they fill quickly

yes, you’re right I know but wouldn’t it be nice if those high end parties were a little easier to bust especially the parties where gems are the prizes. lol I know, in my dreams…I’ve been on here since covid and I’m still in the levels haha so obviously I’m not in a big hurry I just enjoy the games and the parties and love all my fellow avatars

APRIL thank you for speaking up for our hosted fun parties. When we all met here 14 years ago. we never had any trouble busting them. we even had birthday parties for all the players. once again my friends. thank you.

It’s not the busting that is the problem. It is the lack of gems that people have. We get tons of party passes to go to the parties but gems are hard to come by. CW has pretty much stopped giving gems to party with. It costs a lot of gems to bust a party. Way more than it should. Don’t complain too much about the ones that are trying to collect gems just so they can play like all the ones that have more than they can spend.

We all agree about the game site. this is about those of us who spend our charms and gems. to host and post parties that do bust. Some parties cost more.
I have a very young city, so it doesn’t produce a lot of gems yet. I use mostly party passes so I can split my gems between building and giving what I can at parties. It’s not always a lot, but I do what I can, when I can. I never ask anyone to toss as not to embarrass them or make them feel unwelcome. I like to throw “No Pressure” party busters so those who have very little can advance if even only a little.

What do you mean you use party passes instead of gems. How can you use your party passes other than getting into parties. I have tons but don’t know how to use them or if you can
Sterling ya lost me lol, i dont know for sure what u mean, but PP are ONLY used to get into parties, thats it.
I think what @Cathylee is saying is that she will only use party passes to get into parties and save her gems for her city building. Not using gems to get into parties, but rather using them on her city building

They’re rare but I experience one or two a week. My biggest problem with parties is that no one seems to show up for the parties that cost 40 or more gems. When that happens, I’ve expended gems and got nothing in return.
Hi @Free_Radical. It’s possible the game sent you to an overflow room because the main one was full. Overflow parties sometimes have a harder time filling, especially if there are more than one. You could also try to get into the party a few minutes before it starts.
Just a reminder that if a party doesn’t fill and is cancelled, you get your entry fee back (passes or gems).

Thank you. I hadn’t noticed that. Most of the parties I choose to attend fill up. 
Thank you for your comments. I’m not aware of how one can enter a party a few minutes early. I’m only aware of being able to receive reminders once the party starts. From what I have observed, though, is that these are not sent prior to the party starting and, therefore, do not facilitate an early entry to the party.

Choose an upcoming party and open the hosts profile. Click on City. Once the city opens you will see Party Venues on your upper right screen. Click on that and hover over the party venue where the host is giving the party. Enter there and you are in early.
