Double Dragon Pai Gow

The challenge for pai gow is win twice your bet. If I bet !,000 and win 2,000, isn’t that twice my bet? Doesn’t say net. But the 2000 chip wins are not showing up in the tally.

If you win both hands it should be OK. Unless a Fortune bonus bet interferes. IDK I don’t play that one much.

it would appear whether you bet on the fortune bonus hand or not you need to win both hands to get credit for doubling your hand, hope this helps @GoldenGirl1

I had that same issue with Pai Glow. I would bet $1,000 on reg hand and $1,000 on bonus. That meant I bet $2,000 in total and would need to have a win of $4,000 to make the reward count. When this happens now, I just bet the regular hand and not the bonus hand. Also yes, you need to win the Small hand as well as the big hand to double your win IF your playing without betting on the bonus hand. It harder yes, but it gets the job done quicker.
Hope this helps

Many thanks to all, yep no bonus betting.

I did do the bonus bet and it paid enough for a single hand win in 5 of the rounds, I wasn’t doing it to begin with but decided I needed to speed things up

Since I play Pai Gow only on a challenge, I don’t mind losing a few games to succeed. I always play lowest main bet and highest Fortune bonus bet. Most of the bonuses pay out many times more in a winning side bet than I need to finish the challenge, even though they come up only every few hands.

I only play during challenges as well. Thank you for the info, I’ll try it
