Green Prize Boxes

Ok, here is a question. I collect my coins and green box prizes from my city once every 24 hours. my question is, why do some buildings have green boxes and others don’t. Some have some one day and not the next. Sometimes its this many boxes, and the next day its less or more.

Is there a method to increase them? I try and keep my HMP active if i can. So basically the query is, why do some have them and some don’t?

@NashRivers You get a green box if you collect exactly 100 coins from that building. So the buildings that get green boxes are the ones that didn’t generate a lot of income. You can’t increase or decrease the number of boxes, AFAIK it’s random.

My experience has been that if I collect coins (after 8 hours or so) and DO NOT collect the green boxes at that time, the next time I go to collect coins, I have approximately DOUBLE the number of green boxes to collect. I collect them all at that time. I haven’t paid enough attention to say whether my prize totals are of more value than if I had just done my collections at the same time. But if you’d like to increase the number of green boxes you receive in a day, that’s one way I stumbled across to do it.

Same here :tulip: when all my buildings show coins I collect them but I only open the green boxes every other day (in my case on even days) the amount collected coins in two days is about the same but for every building I collect on average more than 2x green boxes  :tulip: (77 buildings approximately 160 green boxes  )

I get green boxes on expensive buildings from crown rewards as well as higher gem price bldgs, and do not ever recall getting 100 coins from them when i took coins, as i woulda not liked that at all..For me increasing the size in gem amount spent on city , dictates the prize in the green box. But as usual what works for one may not work for another and seems each of our experiences are different to saythe least..

Time does not matter. The “VALUE” of the Coins and Green Prizes are determined by the Gem Value of your City. Also the Value of the # of Gems under the influence of the HMP!

It does not matter how often you Collect! 4X6Hrs, 3x8Hrs, 2X12Hrs or 1X24Hrs…Even 2 or 3 Days! The “VALUE” of what we receive is the SAME for EVERYONE!

Larger buildings have the ability to produce Higher Value Charms. I wait 24Hrs and Collect Daily because that is how long it takes my L3s to produce GoldCards/Wine but the “VALUE” of what I receive is no more or less than anyone else! Converting “Collect” Value to Coins is fairly simple.

Coins=Coins….Charm=CoinValue of Charm…Gem/Pass=100K Coins

Leaving your Green Prizes after they are produced is fine. They are stored on the CW Server and will be waiting for you the next time you Collect. But their Value will never change!

The ONLY real advantage a player has over another is the HMP. Basically, the ability to use Gems to Build/Evolve and Increase the Value of the City! The Tier Level or what a Building/Monument looks like does not matter! The Gem Value of ALL Combined is ALL that matters! Those who can afford to Buy Gems can advance quickly! Those who can not advance at a slower pace.

@NashRivers, building on what @Smiling_jim and @Roffa_010 suggested, green prizes have a countdown timer that varies by building, which is why they can stack.

This stacking mechanic is most effective for charms, as their generation rate doesn’t seem to slow down. It’s important to note that each charm type appears to have its own unique countdown timer. For example, to use a loose illustration, an L4 monument might generate a Golden Playing Card every 4 hours but a Holiday Wine every 6 hours. This means if you wait 12 hours, you might get three Playing Cards but only two Wines, not necessarily double of everything.

In contrast, general coin accumulation appears to decelerate if you don’t collect right at the 6-hour mark (though this needs more testing). So, while skipping a collection can significantly increase your total charm count at the 12-hour mark, you’ll still only receive the base 100 coins (not double) from those specific buildings.

@Nashrivers, to answer your question, the primary method to increase your green prizes is to acquire more buildings and keep them in the HMP. The tier of your buildings will also determine the size of the prizes you receive.

This is a casino game afterall, so nearly everything is based on chance and probability. This randomness applies to many things, including:

  • The average value of charms
  • The types of treasure boxes that become available
  • Your outfit selection availability
  • Whether a party’s final prize is a large gem amount
  • many more

TY @Night_Guy @SteveSunset . I collect my coins/green boxes once every 24 hours. I notice I get a lot of Gold cards and Holiday Wine from my L3 Monuments. Some days i have a certain amount of Green boxes and some days less or more. I have always wondered if the number of Green boxes had to do with city building or something we had ‘some’ control over.

I will be at my 1 year mark in 2 months time and so far I am building my city based on advice from NG, SteveSunset and many others. Thank you all ALL SO much for helping me with this question. GREATLY Appreciated!!

I noticed a funny similarity: the progression of the charm from a green prize reminds me of a nuclear decay chain. I’m going to map it out.

Yeah, I got this. Probably will keep me up tonight. :joy: :joy:

Presenting:

The Grand Unified Theory of Charm Decay: Featuring the Celestial Forge!

Fellow Casino World Cosmologists! Prepare yourselves for a paradigm shift! My latest research has unveiled the true celestial mechanics behind our beloved prizes. Forget mere buildings; our L4 Monument is a nascent star, a Celestial Forge!

Here’s the refined theory:

  1. The Celestial Forge (L4 Monument): Our magnificent L4 Monument isn’t just a building; it’s a stellar core, undergoing intense Nuclear Fusion/Fission at its heart! This cosmic activity is the source of all prize energy.
    • New Star Creation (Honeymoon Period): When a new L4 star is ignited, it undergoes a spectacular Honeymoon Burst for approximately 4 days. During this period, its nuclear reactions are exceptionally potent, yielding a significantly higher volume of output. The energy production then gradually settles into a stable, long-term rate.
  2. Radioactive Isotope Emission (Green Prize Boxes): The L4 Monument’s stellar processes don’t directly create charms. Instead, they emit highly volatile radioactive isotopes - our Green Prize Boxes!
    • Crucially, sometimes the stellar fusion yields nothing but raw energy, resulting directly in coins rather than a Green Prize Box. This is just the background radiation of the universe.
  3. Isotope Decay Chain (Green Box Half-Life): Each Green Prize Box is an unstable isotope with its own half-life (its timer). It’s constantly decaying!
    • Upon collection (the “decay event”), these isotopes transform into Daughter Products: valuable Charms (like Aurum cardium - Golden Playing Cards or Vinum festivas - Holiday Wine), or sometimes Gems/Party Passes, or merely a burst of raw energy in the form of coins. The type of daughter product depends on the specific isotope’s properties and its decay pathway.
  4. Managing the Decay Field (Player Interaction):
    • Optimal Yield: By allowing the Green Prize Box (radioactive isotope) to fully decay over its specific half-life, you maximize the chance of obtaining its most valuable daughter products (Bigger Charms or More Gems/Passes).
    • Forced Fission: If you collect the Green Prize Box before its half-life is met, you’re essentially forcing premature fission! This often results in a less valuable or less stable daughter product - for instance, a smaller charm or a reduced quantity of coins, as the isotope hasn’t fully matured into its more complex forms.

In conclusion, managing your Casino World city is nothing less than operating a vast cosmic laboratory, strategically orchestrating stellar fusion, isotope emission, and decay chains to maximize your yield of exotic matter!

Woo. Now you really must have been up all night! But certainly an interesting spin on an explanation. Love it
