Why can’t I pick and choose which POWER UP I want to use in Mahjong? There were many times where I have the same tile stacked on top of one another. The only option that was available to used was the shuffle. Needless to say, I had to waste 7-10 shuffles just to split these tiles apart. If I have the option to pick, I would of pick the Matching Tile POWER UP instead of wasting all my shuffles on a stacked set.
Rant #2 - Avi Location in a Room:
Why is it that sometime when I teleported into a room, my location on my screen is differ from my friend? For example, Ash & I hanged out in the lobby a lot. Sometime on her screen, I am at the entrance to the casino, whereas she’s at the entrance to the Outfits shop. However, on my screen we’re both are at the entrance of the Outfit Shop together. Same can be said for party…, where I landed in a party room, on my screen I am occupying an empty spot. But on other guest screen, I a standing on top of him/her. What gives???
I don’t mind this, because it’s part of the challenge to win. Where’s the fun if you solve every board, first try? Trust me, you’ll eventually solve every board, then you’ll join the group of us complaining that they still haven’t released more boards in years.
I Totally agree Wing. I feel the same about Fringo. I get tired of getting double payline or triple reward or magnetize 3-4 times in a row when I have plenty of the power ups that would actually help me. I would love to be able to pick which power up I want to use, same as you said with Mahjong.
It is a gambling site and from my experience, the house always has the advantage in gambling. Play a slot machine at a casino, you don’t get to choose items to help you win. Even on machines where you manage to get a bonus game where you get to pick until to win something, the house typically lets you win the lowest prize though people to win big ones. On here, people do win big ones, there just is not a board showing that anywhere. If they let us choose everything we wanted to win, they lose the house advantage and in the end it would take some of the fun we have here winning all the time. I at least come with the hopes on winning each day in the end and passing some time. Just my random thoughts.
@Big E, I get what you’re saying in terms of doing it as part of the challenge. So lets say that you got a huge puzzle with 200 tiles to solves and match as your challenge. You’ve knock out almost all tiles and now you’re down to the last 2 tiles that are the same and its stacked. Will you quit this challenge and walk away after solving 198 tiles because you hardly use PU, or will you use your PU and finish this huge puzzle? In this scenario, which would you rather have at your disposal…, Tile Match or Shuffle? Obviously this is a rhetorical question because there is only one PU that can finish this puzzle based on the 2 aforementioned options.
@WingZer0 I hear ya. But if I finish 198 of 200 tiles, and am stuck in that situation (which has happened), I walk away. Like I said, I’ve finished all the boards, so it doesn’t matter to me if I finish one again or not. I’m only playing during daily challenges, which are usually just “Play a game of Dragon Solitaire”.
So, I came to this site originally because I liked the Mahjong, any other gambling “skills” I have I learned here.
I agree that the game lets you earn power-ups or even buy them but doesn’t let you choose how you use them is a little irritating.
I don’t care about Fringo or Lilypad Solitaire - could take or leave them so that the game picks my power-ups doesn’t really bother me.
As for Mahjong, bizarrely for me it adds to the challenge that I can’t control what power-up might be offered, and that I have to ‘strategise’ to maximise what ever crumb it throws me.
I start every game in the hope I won’t need a power-up and lots of games I ignore that I have one available if I don’t see how it can help me.
That Mahjong allows me to accrue massive amounts of coins from unicorn charms whilst I’m playing affords me the capacity to forgive it, it’s imperfections
Maybe when I’ve made it beyond achieving lifer into being a crown player I’ll see things differently, but for me to outwit the Mahjong algorithms will do me for now
I typically only play MJ as my “pony cash-in” and i hoard a good amount of ponies, (typically 6-8,000) and then play MJ at 10 Mil bets and quickly push my way towards the next milestone. The Power-ups are what they are to me, and honestly, If i had the ability to choose, I might paint myself into a corner using only the good ones, until none of them are left. Part of the strategy for me, is not knowing what one I will get and I have to play accordingly. Like I said MJ is my go-to for my herd of ponies when its time to pay them out
100% agreed PB that house always win. But here’s my issue tho. Since they are offering us player with PU to beat the game, why not let us choose which to use? Don’t toyed with me and give me an ineffective shuffle that is useless. Shuffles are good when we’re stuck while in the early or mid-stage of solving. Not at the end. Let me pick and choose the appropriate PU to end the round. That’s all….!!! Here’s my analogy…, if I am going into a battle with an enemy and I have the option of bringing a stick, knife, gun, grenade or rocket launcher…, which will I chose? I will most certainly NOT be picking the stick or knife to end the battle.
As for winning big, just look up leaderboard and see if anyone on the top 3 spot has taken a pic of their big win. Easy peasy…, lol
Well unfortunately I played MJ this evening and got stuck with the last 2 tiles on the board stacked on each other. End of that game. Coins received and on I go. Cheers
LOL Big E…, using that 200 tile as an example, it’s true that finishing 198 out of 200 tiles will net us well over 1B in coins, assuming that we max bet and using ponies. It’s a very good ROI and it’s okay to walk away. It’s a great haul…!!! As for me tho…, I am a knuckle head, I still want to finish and clear that round to get the 14M for finishing the round. It wouldn’t feel right if I just let those 2 tiles goes. Therefore, our objectives are completely different.
I am with you Eddi, I don’t like to use PU. Most of the game, we can see the tile that is 2nd to the top, and we can locate the matching tile on the board to pair it with in a follow up move. I mainly use PU when the tiles are all stacked in column and can’t see anything below the top.
Rant 1….What is with the TB lately? Longer timers produce bigger prizes, so NOT true, why post it cuz it is NOT true. I wait 4-8 hours for a box with lightning and get the same low amount as I get in a brown/blue box. Why am I waiting all day for same result? ex: brown box gives 1k gems and and 4-8hr box with lightning gives 1k gems…Not fair.
Rant 2….Slots, while free spins are rare, when you finally get 5, 10, 15 free spins (betting max 10m a spin) why is the amount won always between 100m-150m. Barely any winnings, esp after investing millions or billions. It’s been like that for over a month now. Anyone know why perhaps?
