I correct that. It was today.
It is fascinating, @Safely_Sane, that you lecture me on ācommon decencyā and āpolitenessā while simultaneously dismissing my advice as āprattle,ā āridiculous,ā and āannoying.ā
Your choice of words ironically proves my point. Basic social interaction and decency absolutely exist here in CW, but you have to give it to get it. You claim to want a friendly environment, yet you resort to insults the moment you hear a perspective you dislike. You are simply in the wrong crowd (lower party tiers) to find the quality players you are looking for. Genuine players donāt just āplay for funā by losing; they play for fun by mastering the Tycoon part of the game so they can afford to help their friends and each other.
@Smiling_Jim - I appreciate the kind words. I am just doing my best to keep the legacy of the late DiveDeep alive. He helped me (and many others) understand the mechanics years ago, and I view these posts as simply paying that forward.
@WV_Julie - Exactly. To put that 42B into perspective: Yesterday, I tested Blackjack resets on a fresh account starting with just 100K coins and no charms. Two hours and 20 resets later, I was up 20B. Next month, that will be another 20B. That is 40B in essentially 4 hours of play. Strategy really matters.
@Safely_Sane This game is about advancement. Itās the reason we build our cities so we can gain a better income to help us get the things we need, go to parties, but more buildings, etc. Part of that advancement is watching your ROI. You watch that because its important in making sure your not going to go broke and be unable to build your city. (your city IS where you game income comes from)
Socializing is another aspect of helping that advancement. We gather tips and tricks and learn from each other by socializing. Those that have advanced high in this game, have understood that aspect very well.
So yes, ROI is VERY important to a player in their continued advancement in the game.
I have to say that NG isnt serious at all lol. He just knows what hes talking about. And btw, fun is subjective, whats fun to you may not be to some1 else, so iād actually say to you, lighten-up, chill, relax and play the way YOU want to. Also the game was INTENDED to build your city/coin purse, thats where the fun is at for some of us, and you honestly donāt seem to be having alot of fun. I hope it gets better for you.
I have to agree with the Captain, you donāt seem to be having fun. From the ones Iāve read, your forum posts suggest you are far from enjoying playing games on Casino World.
As for a reason why people may choose to take the accumulation of pretend money seriously, Iād say achieving VIP for life free. The VIP monthly subscription isnāt pretend money
Fair enough, @Safely_Sane. We clearly have different motivations. You play for escapism regardless of the result; I play for the satisfaction of mastering the gameās economy so I can pass that knowledge on.
You asked why I care so much? Itās exactly your type of thinking. I initially thought you were a new player who just needed help, but after 3 years of going broke multiple times⦠it leads me to believe you are the casual player I was referring to in my previous post. One of my goals is to help new players avoid the bullying and drama that I and many others faced. I hope you are not contributing to the bullying.
I vividly remember my first month, standing in a party room with 5 gems to my name, getting called out by a specific bully for not tossing. I was just a Trial VIP trying to learn, yet I along with many other new players was shamed for not tossing in every single small GnG party we attended (at least 10 times a day by the same person). It felt terrible; I almost quit the game just to avoid him. In the end, I just made sure I didnāt attend parties if he was online. That is not the way to play a game and is not right.
The āgold standardā reason to accumulate āpretend moneyā is Generosity & Sustainability. High coin balances unlock VIP for Life and huge Crown Rewards (~100K+ Gems per 10 crowns). This gives you the resources to participate, toss freely, host parties, and be generous to the community without opening your wallet. (I havenāt spent real money since 2022).
My posts are specifically for players who want to survive that āGreat Filterā (Fermi Paradox of casual players) and build a thriving city. If growth isnāt your goal, that is fine, but please donāt discourage those who do want to succeed. Happy spinning!
Fair complaint if you donāt enjoy strategy. Itās a different kind of game. For many of us, honing a productive strategy is the game. I find Night Guyās analysis very helpful.
