@Eddi_Bets I never have enough gems not to keep an eye on them either. The best advice I’ve gotten so far is to just keep building when/if you can. At least we will get there eventually if we keep building and upgrading after each hmp. Good Luck. Rooting for us!!

It happened again, I hit the TB speed-up this morning so went straight back to building. I had BBs from my monthly perks so my 10,000 gem building only cost me 8968, but my gem perks went up by 180
It will be interesting to see if my next building purchase still has the extra gems perk. I’d forgotten about watching what happened and spent gems on behalf of a friend to get them a skelly, that 1,500 purchase earned 30 perk gems.
I’m curious if the gem perk bonus applies only to the first 2 purchases you make each month or to an amount of gems spent

Yes, you will always get 0.002 x gems spent. You should also have received 500,000 BB perks for spending 250M BB (250M x 0.002). The gems buy the BBs and then you spend the BBs.
I don’t buy until I’ve reached the TB speed-up so by then I’ve always reached ‘Earning Rate Boosted to 200%’ @Elanor and for the majority of the month if I buy a 10,000 gem building I receive 40 perk gems and 1,000,000 as building bucks.
I started to notice for my initial purchases each month I got more gems than that and it seems WV Julie noticed something similar. I didn’t really pay much attention to it until I saw it mentioned here, so I have no data on the numbers of gems.
The initial purchase I make always has a contribution of building bucks because they’re there as the previous month’s perks.
What I hadn’t noticed until I just rechecked my perks is the BB perk is sitting at 5,000,000 - I have bought only one building so far this month a single Casino Satellite using my perk BBs and 8968 gems.
Now I’m even more curious what will happen when I buy my next building - I’ll be chasing gem TBs hard!!
