Tiers V. Levels

Are building levels and building tiers the same thing? If not, what is the difference?

Not sure if there are building levels. All of them are ranked by “tier”. Some people like myself sometimes refer to a building by a “level” as a familiar reference. Mostly when upgrading monuments. When I turn in ten tier 7 monuments into a tier 10 I often instead refer to it as ten level ones into a level two and so forth.

“Level” (like L1, L2, etc.) is just a term used to differentiate Monuments from the standard purchased Tier buildings. Monuments themselves have official Tiers as well.

So when we say “Tier 15,” it means one of those non-monument buildings. When we talk about “Levels,” we’re usually referring to this:

  • L1 = Tier 7 monument
  • L2 = Tier 10 monument
  • L3 = Tier 15 monument
  • L4 = Tier 23 monument
