When I first started, I used a LOT of T6 Buildings (keep 4Days) to “Make” my L1(T7) (keep 2Days) Monuments. I kept ALL my Rare Monuments! I used the Common Blues to Evolve" to the L2s(T10) and used (9) of them to “Evolve” a Rare L2(T10) into a L3(T15) Monument.
As a result of using so many T6s to Build with, the Rare L1s Piled up, LOL! 
But so did my L3s and My TB produced more and more as a result of the HMP.
I saw that the “F” in FUN!!! in my City needs (8)LargeBuildings and I like to “Evolve” My L3s in groups of (8)! So I started keeping my Rares in Groups of (8) and using the rest a few at a time as needed.
After a while, I was able to start using (1)T9 and (2)T8 Buildings (900Gems) to “Evolve” my L1s to L2s. Those are the Biggest Buildings I use in My City to this day! 
Basically, I use (2)T6 for a L1, (1)T9/(2)T8 Set for L1 to L2, (9)"Common"L2 + (1)"Rare"L2 for L3.
Personally, I LIKE and KEEP my L3s! 
I LOVE the MANY Wine/GoldCards they give me everyday! 
I am Happy to get my Gems/Passes from my TBs.
Just try to Build some every day to keep your HMP up and your TB strong!

I’m learning so much. So I’ve been City Building for about a month, and I have not been keeping my T6 Buildings for 4 days. 
I figured I was not understanding HMP correctly and I see I haven’t LOL! 
I’ve been Building Shop buying 2: 1.25M/50 gems (100 gems total) Cityview Hotels, every day, for example, and immediately using them to Monument Make a Tier7\large. So I have a bunch of Tier7\large and no T6 Buildings.
So, I will start tomorrow by keeping the T6 Buildings (that I buy 2 of daily) for 4 Days.
And then, I will follow your instructions. I’m sure I will have questions!
It took me a couple months before I finally caught on to proper and "profitable’ city building mostly by mistake!
I was reading the forum and stumbled across Night Guys building methods, the HMP and the different building methods you can use. All foreign to me at the time!
I also stumbled on the T6 city method to evolve to a T7. I also watched other cities and saw many with T6 City hotel buildings and thought…“Ahha!”
Since then, i have been watching, listening and taking the advice from the more seasoned, long term players.
I build now much like @SteveSunset does with using T6 to evolve to a T7, then evolving that with 2 T8 and 1T9. This is my now prefered method. Also, I recently realized that instead of evolving my T7 to a T10 with just whatever monuments i have to use, I am now only evolving same type monuments. Its easier with the 2T8 and 1T9 method to pick one of the T7 and evolve it. Then, I will get a lot of the same type of monuments. I often wondered how the more seasoned players seemed to have a LOT of the same type of monument!
I have been here since October, and have learned SO much! I look at this game like building a puzzle that takes years and one piece at a time. I’m in no hurry.
So far, since my city has been moving along well, i have not had to buy gems and my party passes have been very good.
I have also learned where and how to best use my charms.
For Unicorns, I use them on Mahjong at 10 Mil per bet. They pay out between 5 and 6 million per pony.
For 5+star clover charms, I use them on Pachinko at 10 Mil bets and get hundreds of millions for a group of them. I usually wait until i have several before i use them in play.
I tend to stay away from the slots unless I “have” to use them for any challenge points.

YW!!! His tips and tricks were what helped me build my city into something more profitable. I accidently stumbled upon his advice and its been much for fun building and evolving and earning greater rewards. For the last 3 months I haven’t needed to buy any Gems unless its 2x Gem day. Then, i use the gems only to build my city more.
There is SO much amazing advice on this site! I honestly love how everyone helps each other out.

After reading so much from a lot of good folks, I finally got it through my head that keeping my TB strong is critical, and have adjusted my approach to CW accordingly. I’ve even developed my version of your CBP. But I’ve also found that, while I got a kick out of creating lots of cool-looking monuments, I really wanted my city to look more like a city. So, I started to put a lot of monuments in storage, and took advantage of the freed-up space to display more of the amazing buildings CW makes available.
I know that a lot of people prefer to display their monuments–and they should be proud of the momentum it represents for them. But as you have indicated before in other posts, there are lots of ways to experience and engage with CW. I continue to build and/or evolve everyday, and the monuments and buildings I have “hidden” generate the same cool prizes as when I had them visible.

Is CBP the same as HMP?
Sorry for the abbreviation. CBP is an abbreviation Steve Sunset uses for Constant Building Program, his method of acquiring buildings on a daily basis, in order to keep taking advantage of the Honeymoon Period (HMP). New buildings have an HMP of 4 days, new monuments, 2 days, powering the Treasure boxes with a multiplier effect for the respective durations. If you are unable to acquire new buildings frequently–no problem. The Treasure boxes will still generate awards, but Treasure boxes powered with a multiplier effect tend to generate more gems/passes/coins/more valuable charms, in my experience. Additionally, the income level and green box prizes generated by the city are also enhanced by the multiplier effect.
And yes, it took me quite a while to understand all this, and the abbreviations people use, even with the helpful comments found here. It can be a lot to wrap your head around. But it’s still fun to participate!

Got it, and thank you Nash for your response…So no real deterrent by actually stopping if such level of happiness is obtained…but I do believe that a city can actually reach some terminal point where no further gains are obtainable, what that exact level is I’m not sure of (I do think it’s mentioned in one of the building topics). But once that amount is reached, the TB and Green Box rewards remains constant, I would think, as opposed to going lower and lower because of a stoppage of building/evolving. Yes?

@papa_meester Your TBs will Start to “Max Out” like this per NG… The purple box reaches its maximum potential at an expenditure of 225,000 gems on buildings/momuments, while the yellow box does so at 450,000 gems , the blue box at 900,000 gems , and the brown box at 1.8 million gems . This Means ALL your Buildings/Monuments! The Tier Level does NOT matter!
Once the Value of your City goes Over 2M Gems, Your Brown TB will provide you with MAX Prizes Quickly! Basically, You can get the SAME Prize from a Brown TB that you get from a Purple TB. 
That said, I agree with @NashRivers on the Happiness Point!
I Continue to Build for the Coins/GreenPrizes My City give me Daily.
But in the End, Have FUN!!!, Be Happy!

There was a point where CW doubled the gems needed to max out your city. It caused a lot of people to be very upset as they were suddenly seeing lower TB prizes. So the moral of the story is, don’t get complacent in building your city just because you maxed it out. CW reserves the right to change things at their discretion.
I was still getting from the TB, green jar charms (worth 6M coins ea) with 50 units of T21 buildings. After that ,the only charms I get from the TB are Mystic Ruby or Luckiest 7 (worth 100M coins ea). Now with more than 200 T21s, the charms, gems,coins,passes from the TB are still the same as when I had 40 T21s. So it seems the TB prizes maxed out at around 50 T21s. But having more buildings means more charms,gems,coins,passes from the individual buildings too, thrice daily. It’s here that the T21s really come into it’s own, paying out 270 passes or 100M coins versus 11 passes or 6M coins for a T15 just as an example. So while you can max out TB payouts, you cannot max out the overall city payouts
Yes, as @Jimee says “you cannot max out the overall city payouts”! And the “Max” Charm from the TB are Rubies/7s! The rest is Subjective, I Like Factual Information I TRUST!
I DO NOT have any L4/T21 Monuments in my City, I will say Why? soon. My City as it pretains to my TB has been “Maxed Out” for a long time. its Value is no where near 40-50 L4/T21 (3.2-4M Gems)! As a result I see the Information below as Factual and the Source Trustworthy.
The Coins on your Buildings will Accumulate (Per CW) on the Server for 72Hours and that Value will be Loaded each Time you Login. Higher Tier Level Buildings and HMP Buildings will accumulate more Coins!
The Green Prize Boxes work the same way Coins do on the Server. Each Building in the City has a Max Value of Charm it can give you. The Highest Charm from Buildings is the GoldCards/Wine! And it takes TIME for that to happen.
That TIME is WHY? I LIKE L3/T15 Monuments! It takes 22Hrs for them to “Max Out” the Green Boxes. I figure by that Time ALL My Buildings are Max too? So I Collect about 24Hrs Daily to Max the “Productivity” of My City. Thats Easy Schedule for me.
The Pro and Con of the L4/T21 is that “Max Out” Time. If Jimee says 8Hrs (Thrice Daily) I Trust that, but I do not know, I have none. But Theoretically, if I build some L4s, I need to Collect from them at 8Hrs to take advantage of their power? Which means Prizes from ALL my other Buildings will turn to “Crap”? Which means I should Evolve my ENTIRE City into a “Big Blob” of L4/T21s? No Thank You. Whatever makes EV1 Personally Happy is the Way to go!
I like My Way! I get my Gems n Passes from my TBs! I get my GoldCards/Wine from my City! I do it for “FREE”!
