At least with the method you suggested the main charm you are selecting over and over does not move like it does when leaving it in High to Low. Still funky overall though.
Thanks for the tip

I noticed CW fixed the charms manager back so it stays on High to Low charms, so THANK YOU!
Another workaround for those who like to load up all of a particular charm and ignore others when you are playing a game.
Let me preface this with SHEESH! But, it does work.
This is very labor intensive, but it works. Weāll see what the future changes will do to make things better. Good luck!
@CruisinPast that works, except for geeks like me. I like to play 3-card, using both Mystic Rubies and Luckiest 7s. So if I have say, 50 Rubies and 55 7s, Iāll start with 5 in a row 7s, then rotate back and forth until I load the number of charms I want to use.
Simple in the original layout, and they were right next to each other.
P.S. to Another workaroundā¦.
The technique listed above about switching to Alphabetical by Night Guy is so much easier and faster. My workaround takes a lot of time to set up.
I agree @Big_E_2. My workaround is quite clunky and has its drawbacks for special play techniques as you describe. Youād still be better off with Night Guyās suggestion. In Alphabetical order, youād be able to load back and forth. Good luck.
@CruisinPast yes, but Luckiest 7s and Mystic Rubies are not close to each other alphabetically. Theyāre 4 rows apart, and then Iām still chasing charms.
My other solution: minimal play until it gets fixed.
Since they are fixing the charm queue, maybe an option to select your favorite charms, like favorite games. Then you can sort by favs, so they come to the top. But honestly, if they just let you autoload and select the charms you want (rather than unselect the ones you donāt), all these issues would be solved.
You hit the nail on the head, @CruisinPast. That tedious unchecking process is exactly the issue Iāve been trying to get them to address. Itās frustrating enough on its own, but having to redo it every time you get a new charm that you want to keep really adds to the pain.
Hereās the request I was referring to.
Not difficult, just stop the charms from moving and put the ones that have been stacked at the bottom as it was before so we can see which ones have been chosen. I used to stack 100ās at a time so I can spin or hours, this new system is annoying and so time consuming, it isnāt fun anymore.
PLEASE stop the rows from moving and put the chosen charms at the bottom like they were ⦠PLEASE!!!
We are hoping thatās part of the December 8th update.
Thank you for the fix
PLEASE fix it back to the way it was! I like to add my charms as many as I want at one time. Playing Dragon Mahjong and having to keep loading more charms is very distracting. I want to be able to load as many charms as I want before starting a game without only being able to load say 5 at a time. Hope Iām making myself clear.
Would also LOVE if you could buy more than one building at a time without having to keep going back to choose.
Thanks!
Just dropping this here so the āband-aidā fix doesnāt get buried. For now, the best solution is to switch to Alphabetical sort to load multiple charms of the same type. It behaves almost like the old system used to, just ordered by name instead of clover value.
Thank you so much Night_Guy! That works for me.
Yes ty NG that is the best fix for now.
@Night_Guy it doesnāt help if you want to load multiple charms in the same game. I like using both Mystic Rubies and Luckiest 7s in 3-card. They are next to each other in value, but not alphabetically.
My solution is only collecting TBs and doing challenges until itās fixed.
It sucks, but for me, the game is unplayable like this.
I always wait to do massive charm burns until I get the 200% vault earning rate boost. With a little luck, I will get it tomorrow. I load multiple charms the hard way, by autoload and then tediously unchecking the ones I donāt want.
In that case, I am sorry it didnāt work out for you. Assuming you are using both charms at the same time in the buffer, the alphabetical sort definitely makes that harder since they arenāt next to each other. However⦠My workaround was mostly intended for loading a large stack of a single charm type. Hopefully, the update fixes this soon!
