I was shocked, I have been a member of Casino World for quite some time and this is the first time I have seen this. Quite offensive.
When party started, someone was designated to “Call Out”. This person began to call out people in the room by name and told to contribute what ever the Call Out person said. Example: Blossom 3 helicopters, etc. Next person called out, given instructions on what and how many of given call out.
What the heck…when is this considered part of a party atmosphere? By the way, I always give charms at parties, but I do not like being told what and how many to give.
These are referred to as “names called” parties, if you see NC in the party name or it’s description then give it a wide berth unless you are happy to go along with it - some don’t use NC they have honour in the description which essentially means no-one will call your name but the room expects you to toss the charms named in the party description
I stay away from this type of party because to my way of thinking it’s a transactional gathering with a predictable outcome - not a party
If that is going to be the case, the party description should say what charm is to be thrown and it should say NC (names called). Believe me I learned this the hard way when I first got here and had one person have half the room put me on their block list!
There are quite a few of these partys on VW. Won’t name names, but one ‘character’ blocked me for not throwing. Then again, from what I have heard, he blocks people just because he’s a jerk.
Thank You, I just never seen this before. And YES, it should be listed that this will be a called party. Like I said, I always give charms, fair is fair if you want to attend then be part of the party and give but someone calling out your name and telling you what and how many to give is not right. There are many that come and give what they can.

Thank you for your reply. I didn’t know NC parties existed. LOL So it was a bit of a shock to me. I am always a charm giver to the parties I go to, but don’t like to be told to give a certain charm and how many. LOL I appreciate the replies I have gotten to enlighten me there are these type of parties. I will have to be more careful.

Hi ! I’ve been noticing this trend lately, I think someone may have brought this practice from 7 Seas, where “littleprincess” is the biggest culprit. I have been under the impression that this conduct is in violation of the Code of Conduct, where it was supposed to be wrong to tell others what they were supposed to throw at parties. In some cases, this can get you blocked and ejected if you don’t comply. And this is supposed to be “fun, and fair for all”? Some people who are there for the charms barely have the entrance fee, and then have to come up with gems to throw those big ticket items ? This is what they call fair and fun ? I think flowplay should re-evaluate the situation for the good of all.

I agree. I remember in the beginning, and even now sometimes, that it is so hard to throw so much. Lower level players need those charms just to inch ahead a bit, especially if they are not VIP. I know there is a block button for the bullies, but I think CW should penalize them somehow. These bullies know who they are.
Good Point I am going to be more careful of what parties I go to. Like I said, I always give charms, it’s just that I didn’t realize there are these parties stating up front if the will be CALLING names to throw charms. Never seen such before. Oh well.
It usually says that is what it is in the party comments. It is good because you know you will get to the end of the bar. It has been going on for a long time. There are only a few of them just don’t go to those.
I host only GnG Unicorn parties. Anyone can come in, and throw or don’t throw. That’s what Grab-n-go is. Many higher players throw charms and it helps the newer ones. It’s about paying it forward. Just like they had when they first started. Many remember that and enjoy paying it forward.
