I like continuity in my city and knowing i have control on what the evolved monument will look like. If i just choose random ones when i evolve one, there is no guarantee what it will evolve to.
I am confused now NashRivers

What I mean is, I like to evolve the monuments I know will evolve into a momument that will fit the upcoming design I have in mind…
For example, when i get a rare L1 I keep it until i’m ready to evolve that using 1 T8 and 1T0 to create a new L2 rare one. Then, (and this is only my choice) I get 10 of those and evolve it to a L3 rare one.
Now…what I didnt know until a moment ago, is that if I evolve a L2 rare monument to a L3 rare one, i dont need to have ALL the same…seems I only need to Evolve that one using whatever ‘common’ level 10 I have (As just now explained by @SteveSunset.
So, I will try that!
Up until now, i thought to evolve a L2 to a rare L3, i had to use only the same ones.
Learn something new every day!
This is from this Topic above.
Thank you for all the valuable insight. I’ve totally changed my city building strategy based on these techniques. My biggest confusion is HMP. I usually get several L6 buildings a day (based on my gem supply) and immediately Monument Make those into L1 Monuments. Once I collect enough L1’s I Evolve. My big question is when do I collect coins and green boxes based on HMP. Do I do that daily? I’ve read somewhere to wait and collect coins every 3 days. But I’ve also read that Monuments lose their juice after two days and Buildings after 4. I’m just confused about when to collect coin and green boxes.
From the information I got from other users, HMP (Honeymoon Period) is about 3-4 days for buildings and 2 days for monuments. They will pay at a higher rate during that time, and then ‘normalize’ after that.
My best strategy, as well as some others, is to collect my coins every 22-24 hours and evolve buildings every 3-4 days, and evolve monuments every 2 days (IF your able to, there is hard rule on this really. It just means the HMP levels off after the set amount of time as per building or monument)
Its the same with Green Boxes, I tend to collect every 22-24 hours along with my coins.
Wait at least 4 days before evolving any buildings as you are missing out on the HMP.
Always wait 4 days for your t6 buildings, then turn them into monuments, its really important.
Thank you very much.
i used to do the same thing lol. It will make a huge difference
so beautiful some of these cities, such creativity

I’m just getting into CW. i normally play spbj to get ahead.. but i get clobbered all the time. If i start working on my city, will that help my coin bank to increase, or will i be using all the generated TB items for my city only? using the guides here, i’ve been able to increase my party pass tickets considerably (so thank you for that)
Currently my city is junk, and i’ve not worked on it much. should i be re-thinking and re-work what i have, OR..?
Any help would be appreciated..
thanks in advance,

I’ve only been here a little over a year and really enjoy building my city. I found that’s where I actually get most of my bank from. Gambling is always taking a risk, but your city ALWAYS gives and never takes! I say Build, Build, Build! I enjoy it even more now after seeing the artwork of others’ players cities!
ALWAYS build your city the best you can, Steve has said many times, and i agree, it powers your TB bigtime.
I was given this advice when I first started and it helped a lot
and when I asked about buying the biggest buildings you could afford the same person told me this
I buy the occasional big building (when I amass either gems or building bucks) and maintain a rotation of the smaller ones as described to make monuments
It wasn’t instant but it didn’t take too long for me to begin to see a difference in what my city was producing for me. It’s tough at the beginning unless you have spare cash to be buying gems or building bucks, good luck
well said eddi, it takes time and learning how to make the buildings work for you.
sorry…..
